Scouting Report
As a senior offensive and defensive lineman for the Hudson Catholic football team in Hudson County, the 6-3, 297-pound, two-way lineman is:
Guiding an offense which is averaging 26.5 points per game.
Leading a defense which gives up 19 points per game for a team which has a winning mark of 7-3.
On the offensive end, it's very hard to get by Cineas as his quickness gets him up on his feet quickly and once he's up, his size can dominate the play from there. Defensively, his film clips show him spending a lot of time in the opposition's backfield.
As a result, the college interest is growing as his list currently features the likes of
Rutgers
Wagner
Rhode Island
Lehigh
Currenty, Cineas has all the credentials as he has dead lifted 500 pounds, he has stopped the watch at 5.3 in the 40-yard dash and he owns a 2.9 grade point average.
Despite his size, he also has athletic ability as he is expected to contribute to the school's outstanding basketball program, which finished 23-3 last winter.
Scouting Report: "A lot of players have the size on paper, but Marcus brings that size to the field, which has enabled him to draw interest on the collegiate level, including the DIvision 1 level. He meets the physical requirements needed to play in the trenches, but his athletic ability enables him to separate him from just another big linemen. Good hands, good feet and a non-stop motor are more attributes he has to make him a solid college player.''
At this point, the hard-working Cineas is expecting more interest and offers to be on the table soon.
